shipment vs. shipping
ship这个动词，我以前也认为只是船运，后来才知道其实可以指一切运输方式，空运也可以叫ship(air shipping),所以「寄出」这个词，一般就用ship就可以了。
ship这个词很神奇，不需要用被动语态，可以直接说The samples will ship tomrrow.
很多人误以为shipment就是ship的名词，十个中国人有九个用shipment day表示出货日期。
没有说shipment day一定错，但是通常说法是shipping date.
shipment是货物（或者装船、装车、装飞机这个动作）。我们可以说hol[……]
